Salma Hayek was a guest on last night's Late Night With Jimmy Fallon where she pitched Savages, a movie that actually looks interesting, and Grown Ups 2, a movie I'll never see because Adam Sandler is in it and I'm not a 12-year-old boy with mental retardation. I think.

Besides telling an anecdote where Salma insinuates she's old and may have amnesia because she didn't recognize Jermaine Jackson (and, seriously, how can you forget his hilarious face), the world's most famous jarocha also told the tale of how her grandmother buzzed her hair when she was two years old because of some Mexican superstition/belief that claims that doing such a thing will give your child Daniela Romo-like hair. To Salma's credit, Mexican abuela's totally believe that -- and it works! I remember my grandma did the same thing to my sister but not to me, and now my hair looks like a ragged mop while my sister's looks pretty and voluminous.

Alright, Salma; you have proven your Mexican mettle.
