Jessica Alba tells the June issue of Marie Claire magazine that she felt objectified while playing Max Guevara, her character in Dark Angel:
[Dark Angel] premiered when I was 19. And right away, everyone formed a strong opinion about me because of the way I was marketed. I was supposed to be sexy, this tough action girl. That’s what people expected…I felt like I was being objectified, and it made me uncomfortable. I wanted to be chic and elegant!”
Translation: I never wanted to have a personality, looking pretty was good enough for me.
Oh Jessica. You and your dumb interviews.

I saw "Dark Angel" at a dish network Phoenix and it was the TV show of my childhood, I wanted to be just like her. How can someone be ashamed for inspiring so many little girls?
