Meet Ian Hutcheon, the English astronomer responsible for concocting Meteorito, a meteorite infused wine. This Cabernet Sauvignon, produced in the Cachapoal Valley of Chile, achieves its edge by undergoing a very special and complicated steeping process: hand dipping a 4.5 billion-year-old space rock into a wine-filled barrel with the aid of a common wire hanger. (Welcome to the future, people!) I know what you're thinking: Does the end product taste "out of this world"? Quien sabe. You're gonna have to go to Chile and figure that out for yourselves because, as of now, that's the only place were you can purchase Meteorito.
