Your Morning Squeeze: Chavela Vargas' Rendition Of "La Llorona"

There's a lot of covers of "La Llorona" out there but Chavela Vargas' rendition is by far the best. This particular take was recorded right when Chavela was getting out of a long alcohol binge and, IMO, it was her best period. It was like pulling a fine but very dusty wine out of a forgotten cellar.

This song is also the perfect lullaby for that improvised Dia De Los Muertos party you should be throwing tonight.
