Here's the video of Texas governor Rick Perry speaking at Eduardo Verastegui's Unido Por La Vida rally held two weeks ago in Los Angeles. The mostly Latino-attended pro-life rally was an opportunity for the Texas governor to drum up support from Latino voters outside Texas for what many believe is his impending bid for the Republican nomination in the 2012 Presidential race. In the clip, Perry calls Roe v. Wade, "a national tragedy" and restates his commitment to ban embryonic stem cell research in this country.

"I'm especially proud that within the last few weeks, I signed a bill that will not allow any child to be aborted in Texas without the mother first having a sonogram," Perry said referencing the controversial Texas Senate Bill 16 or Forced Sonogram Bill.

"The research being conducted in Texas holds the promise of healing the body without causing further damage to our society's soul and without compromising the values that make our nation great.  It's too bad we can't say that about Washington, D.C," Perry continued, referencing embryonic stem cell research approved by the FDA during the Obama administration. The Texas governor has promised he would veto any bills that support state-funded embryonic research and some in his party have tried unsuccessfully to pass legislation that would ban it from the state.

And, of course, the clip contains the soundbyte reported across news outlets two weeks ago where Perry referenced Obama's vetoing of of the Mexico City Policy, turning the United States, according to Perry, into "an exporter of abortion."
