Tip your editors
A bill that would force abortion providers to describe a woman's sonogram to her at least 24 hours before getting an abortion has been approved by a Senate committee and will be in front of the State Senate as early as next week. The bill was originally authored to force patients to view their sonograms, but now the language has been changed to read that health care providers must describe the patient's sonogram to them, including body parts like limbs and vital signs like heart beats, whether or not she opts to see the sonogram. What do you expect from a state where doctors have to wear lab coats outside the office for politicians to believe they're doctors?
