Tip your editors
This is the "making of" video for Zoe Saldaña's Calvin Klein Envy Underwear campaign. Envy is the name of the underwear which required Zoe to synergystically make "envy" sound like sexy and cool:
"I found very positive things about the word envy when I was wearing the underwear," Zoe says. Like the very positive dollars that were deposited in your bank account when you agreed to do this campaign? "Because you feel very confident," she explains. Well, no. The word "envy" is, like, the exact opposite of feeling very confident. See? Here's the definition:
a feeling of discontent or covetousness with regard to another's advantages, success, possessions, etc.
Wait. She can tie this back. Just give her a chance. "And you just like envy it because you want to emanate it." So, wait. You want to emanate your underwear? You're envious of your underwear? We'd love to believe Zoe is this stupid, but unfortunately, some ad agency person probably wrote this, like, premeditated. Oh well, at least Zoe is hot.
